Rice needs an appropriate amount of water depending on the development phases of the plant.
These are visible in the Pléiades Neo image shown by changes in the color of the plots. Around the town of Oc Eo in the Mekong Delta in Vietnam, the population has settled along the widest canals close to the rice fields to manipulate the irrigation network between plots of land.
