Pléiades monitors construction of the new administrative capital of Egypt, built on desert land between Cairo and Suez. You can clearly see the new development by comparing the first Pléiades image captured on 6th November, 2013 with an acquisition from 30th January, 2019.

The project was launched on 13th March, 2015. The city will welcome new administrative and financial buildings, housing the main government departments and ministries for Egypt, as well as foreign embassies.
