Unique solution on the market for national coverage (2D/3D) with precision

The ideal solution for country-wide, demanding applications
With the current SPOT 6/7 satellites, we continue a long history of data delivery started 30 years ago with the launch of the original SPOT 1 satellite in 1986. Today the archive imagery gives you access to unique historical high resolution data collected over the last decade and spanning over billions of km². SPOT 6/7 secure data continuity will be until 2025 and 2027 respectively.
A SPOT satellite acquisition covers large areas in a single pass at resolutions up to 1.5m. Such precise coverage is ideal for applications at national and regional scales and best suited for mapping, agriculture and land administration applications. SPOT 6 and SPOT 7 operate in an 180-degree phased orbit, allowing for daily revisit anywhere on Earth. The satellite's large swath enables a daily acquisition capacity of 3 Million km² per satellite.
Our extensive and attractive One Tasking offer, jointly optimised with our Pléiades satellites, allows you to select the service that is most suitable for your specific requirements and project schedules.
Offering an ideal trade-off between coverage, resolution and speed, Pléiades products are especially useful for applications in defence, civil protection, hazard management, urban mapping, precision agriculture and network and infrastructure administration.
Did you know?
SPOT 6/7 are operated on the same orbit with the very-high-resolution Pléiades satellites (50cm imagery), as a 4-satellite constellation: an ideal combination of detail and broad coverage, with intraday revisit to any point on Earth and image availability within hours.
