This Pléiades image acquired on 5 June 2013 shows the severe flooding in the Bavarian city of Passau. In the historic city centre, the three rivers Inn, Danube and Ilz meet. Following several days of heavy rainfall, the water levels reached 12.85m, exceeding the highest recorded historic flood level. The flooding of the city’s waterfront and large parts of the streets in the city centre is clearly visible on the image.

In this case, the order was placed through GeoStore at 9:05 am on 4 June, the satellite tasked at 3:32 am on 5 June and the image acquired when the satellites passed over the target at 10:09. Just over an hour later, the product was available for download by the customer via ftp.
